Siraha/June 23 Ram Bilash Ram, 55, of Bastipur VDC-8 has killed his wife Runa Devi with an axe on June 23 morning. According to Ram Bilash’s mother and mother-in-law of the deceased, Jitanti Devi Ram, her son was accusing Runa Devi of having extramarital affair in the evening of June 22. Jitani added Ram Bilas hit Runa Devi with axe three or four times adding neighbors Lakshu Ram, Kisan Ram and Ram Briksha Ram were also injured when they went to save the woman. Ram Bilas, who tried to flee with the body of his wife, was nabbed by the neighbors and handed over to the police. DSP Hariraj Wagle of Ward Police Office informed that the body had been taken to Lahan Hospital for postmortem. The injured are undergoing treatment at Lahan Hospital.
