A person died after being thrashed by his wife in Jhapa on Friday. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Bidur Nepali, a resident of Damak-9 Shantichowk. 48-year-old Sanumaya Darji thrashed her husband, Bidur during a drunken scuffle between the two. Bidur died at home due to the thrasing. Neighbours reported that the couple often fought after getting drunk. Police said that they found injury and blue marks over Bidur's body. They have concluded that the cause of death was beating during family dispute as no weapon was found used during the fight. The deceased's body was take to Mangalbare hospital in Urlabari for postmortem. Police have taken Sanumaya into custody and are further investigating, informed DSP Dipak Giri of Area Police Office Damak. झापाको दमकमा आफ्नै श्रीमतीको कुटाई बाट एक जनाको मृत्यु भएको छ। मृत्यु हुनेमा दमक -९ शान्तिचोक बस्ने ५५ वर्षीय बिदुर नेपाली रहेका छन्। शुक्रबार आफ्नै श्रीमतीको कुटाइबाट बिदुरको मृत्यु भएको हो। ४८ वर्षीय श्रीमती सानुमाया दर्जीले मादकपदार्थ सेवन गरेर कुटपिट गर्दा उनको घरमै मृत्यु भएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। श्रीमान् श्रीमती दुबै जना मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरी सधै जसो झगडा गर्ने गरेको छिमेकीले बताएका छन्। मृतक बिदुरको शरिरमा कुटपिट गरेको निलडाम रहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। शरीरमा निलडाम बाहेक अन्य धारिलो हतियार प्रयोग नभएको देखिएकाले आपसी झगडाका कारण मृत्यु भएको हुनसक्ने प्रहरीले अनुमान गरेको छ। बिदुरको शव पोष्टमार्टमका लागि उर्लाबारी स्थित मंगलबारे अस्पातल लगिएको छ। कुटपिट गर्ने श्रीमती सानुमायालाई नियन्त्रणमा लिएर घटनाबारे थप अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय दमकका प्रहरी नायव उपरीक्षक दिपक गिरीले जानकारी दिए।
