A group of unidentified men vandalized the office of Chhatreshwori rural municipality ward-4 in Salyan on Thursday night around 12:00am. According to ward chairman Raj Bahadur Budhathoki the group vandalized computer, photocopy machine, solar, chairs, and steel cupboard belonging to the office. The damage sustained is estimated to be around two hundred thousand rupees. Important documents of the office were also found burned. Rupees nine hundred seventy thousand allocated for social security was however found untouched. Police are looking for the vandals, informed DPO Salyan. सल्यानको छत्रेश्वरी गाउँपालिका वडा नं ४ को वडा कार्यालयमा बिहीबार राति नचिनेको समूहले तोडफोड गरेको छ । गएराति झण्डै १२ बजेतिर पहिचान नखुलेको एक समूहले कार्यालयको ताला फोडेर फरार भएको छ । वडा कार्यालयको ताला तोडफोड गरी झन्डै २ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको क्षति गरेको वडा अध्यक्ष राज बहादुर बुढाथोकीले जानकारी दिनुभयो । अपरिचित समूहले कार्यालय भित्रको कम्प्यूटर, फोटोकपी मेशिन, सोलार, कुर्सी, दराज पूर्ण रुपमा तोडफोड गरेको बुढाथोकीले बताउनुभयो । महत्वपूर्ण कागकाज जलाइएको र केही पानीमा फालिएको अवस्थामा फेला परेको बताइएको छ । कार्यालयमा रहेको सामाजिक सुरक्षा भत्ताको ९ लाख ७० हजार रुपैयाँ केही नचलाइएको बुढाथोकीको भनाइ छ । तोडफोडमा संलग्नहरुको खोजी कार्य भई रहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सल्यानले जनाएको छ ।
