Distribution of zinc sheets against election code of conduct

Mayor Dep Narayan Rijal of Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has operated roof distribution (zinc plates) program to poor people targeting the upcoming HoR and state assembly election in November 26.
Rijal distributed the roof while addressing election program of CPN UML on November 3 in Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-8.
The distribution of roof near the election is against the election code of conduct, said CDO Eek Dev Adhikari.
Mayor Rijal said that the distribution is as per the program to provide roof to the poor people.
