A boy has been injured when an abandoned pressure cooker bomb went off at a fish market in Barahathawa4 on January 2 evening.
Sanjiv Ray, 14, of Hempur1 was injured when the bomb exploded as he touched the plastic bag in which it was kept. Ray who had gone there to buy vegetables had found the plastic bag inside another nylon bag.
The victim sustained shrapnel injuries to his hand, leg and face. He is undergoing treatment at the local Barahathawa health post.
Police said that a leaflet of Nepal Defense Army was found from the site. Locals were terrorized after the blast.
