An explosive has been detonated by an unidentified group of people targeting the vehicle of UML parliamentary candidate Rajendra Gautam at Sabhapokhari-2 in Deurali, Sankhuwasabha. There was no human loss in an explosion however the vehicle sustained a minor damage according to DSP Santosh Khadka. He said that there might be an involvement of cadres of Nepal Communist Party. According to District Committee Secretary Khadga Rai of UML, the explosive was detonated as soon as the vehicle reached Salghari however no one was injured. In the vehicle there were two other candidate of left alliance according to Rai. The security has been tightened in the area after the explosion.
