Rautahat/July 3 Police on July 3 have made settlement in a murder attempt case filed at the Area Police Office Chandranigahapur over the issue of worshipping in the Brahmasthan temple in Simra Bhawanipur VDC-5. Two persons who were being held in illegal detention since June 27 have been released following the settlement. Mahendra Sah, Yogendra Sah, Mangali Ram and Bhadiya Devi Ram of Bhawanipur VDC-5 were injured when a clash ensued between the Chaudhari and Sah community over the issue of worshipping in the temple on June 27. APO Chandranigahapur had arrested Birendra Chaudhary and Sohan Chaudhary of same place the same night. They were held in police detention in pretext of holding discussion without extending remand. Police have also extracted 100,000 rupees from the accused and provided the amount to the complainants as compensation. The clash had erupted when some people of Chaudhari community barred women of other community from worshipping in the temple. DSP Dhrubaraj Raut of the APO admitted making settlement in the case saying that instead of extending the remand, police took such step following pressure from all sides. Bipeen Gautam रौतहट । ०७० असार १९ गते सिम्रा भवानीपुर गाविस-५ मा रहेको ब्रम्हस्थान मन्दिरमा पूजा गर्ने विषयमा गत असार १३ गते राती झडप भइ इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय चन्द्रनिगाहपुरमा दर्ता भएको ज्यान मार्ने उद्योग मुद्दामा प्रहरीले असार १९ गते मिलापत्र गराएको छ । मिलापत्रपछि असार १३ गते देखि गैर कानुनी थुनामा राखेका दुईजनालाई प्रहरीले हिरासत मुक्त गरेको छ । गत १३ गते सिमराभवानीपुर-५ मा रहेको ब्रम्हस्थान मन्दिरमा पूजा गर्ने विषयमा स्थानीय चौधरी समुदाय र साह समुदायबीच झडप हुँदा सिम्रा भवानीपुर गाविस-५ का महेन्द्र साह, योगेन्द्र साह, मंगली राम र भदियादेबी राम घाइते भएका थिए । घटनामा संलग्न रहेको आरोपमा सोही राती सिमराभबानीपुर गाविस-५ का वीरेन्द्र चौधरी र सोहन चौधरीलाई इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय चन्द्रनिगाहपुरले गिरफ्तार गरेको थियो । पीडितको तर्फबाट असार १४ गते सोही ठाउँका अनुठा धामी, वीरेन्द्र चौधरी, सोहन धामी, हेमन्त चौधरी र अर्जुन चौधरी विरुद्ध जाहेरी परेकोमा प्रहरीले छलफलको नाममा गिरफ्तार भएका दुवैजनालाई म्याद थप नगरी गैर कानुनी हिरासतमा राखी मिलापत्र गराएको हो । मुद्दा मिलापत्र गराउँदा प्रहरीले जाहेरवालाहरूलाई आरोपित पक्षबाट १ लाख ९५ हजार रुपियाँ हर्जाना समेत तिराएको छ । तराईमा मनाइने असारे पूजाको बहि पूजा गर्न गत असार १३ गते मन्दिर जाने क्रममा अन्य जातिका महिलाहरूले प्रसाद चढाउन जान लाग्दा चौधरी समुदायका केही व्यक्तिले नदिएपछि सम्झाउन पुगेका अन्य समुदायका बासिन्दामाथि लाठीले कुटपिट गर्दा दुवै पक्षबीच झडप भएको थियो । इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय चन्द्रनिगाहपुरका डिएसपि ध्रुबराज राउतले अदालतमा म्याद थप गर्नु पर्नेमा चौतर्फी दबाबका कारण म्याद थप हुन नसकेको र घटनामा मिलापत्र भएको स्वीकार गरेका छन् । बिपिन गौतम
