Alert: Rukum/Nov 24, Tarun dal ka kaaryakarta haru dwara Sanibheri gaupalika woda number-7 ka adhyayakchhya ki shrimati mathi kutpit.A woman was severely injured in a clash that ensued between cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) in Rukum in the late evening of Thursday.
The injured is Kalpana Budha, spouse of Kul Bahadur Budha, ward chair of Sanibheri Rural Municipality- 7. The scuffle took place after the CPN (Maoist) cadres reportedly threw rocks at a vehicle carrying NC cadres who were heading to home after attending the party election assembly at Musikot.
Initially, Kalpana was rushed to the Chaurjahari Hospital from where she was referred to Nepalgunj, as stated by her husband Kul Bahadur. Following the scuffle, police have taken four people under control for their role in triggering the incident, according to District Police Office Rukum's Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Dhamala.
नेपाली कांग्रेस सम्बद्ध तरुणदलका कार्यकर्ताहरुले रुकुमको सानीभेरी गाँउपालिका वडा नं. ७ का अध्यक्ष कुलवहादुर बुढाकी श्रीमती कल्पना वुढालाई कुटपीट गरेका छन् । सदरमुकाम खलंगामा आयोजीत चुनावी सभावाट घर फर्कदै गरेका तरुण दलका कार्यकर्ताहरुले घरमै वसेकी कल्पनालाई कुटपीट गरेको सानीभेरी गाँउपालिका अध्यक्ष नरवहादुर पुनले बताए ।
डाअध्यक्ष कुलवहादुर वुढालाई कुटपीट गर्ने उद्धेश्यले त्यहाँ पुगेका कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताहरुले वुढालाई नभेटेपछि श्रीमती कल्पनालाई कुटपीट गरेको वताईएको छ । कुटपीटवाट गम्भीर घाईते कल्पनाको चौरजहारी अस्पतालमा उपचार हुन नसकेपछि थप उपचारका लागि नेपालगञ्ज लगिएको छ । कल्पनाको शुक्रबार बिहानसम्म पनि होस नखुलेको श्रीमान कुलवहादुर वुढाले बताए ।
कुटपीट गर्नेहरुलाई हिजो राती नै प्रहरीले नियन्त्रणमा लिएको छ । पक्राउ पर्नेहरुमा चौरजहारी नगरपालिका वडा नं. ९ का नरेन्द्र मल्ल, चौरजहारी नगरपालिका वडा नं. १ का शंकर विक र तेजवहादुर विक र चौरजहारी नगरपालिका ३ का प्रेमवहादुर मल्ल रहेका छन् । पक्राउ परेकाहरुमाथि घटनाको वारेमा अनुसन्धान भैरहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
यसैबीच निर्वाचनको वेला राजनैतिक प्रतिशोध लिएर गरिएको कुटपीटको घटनाप्रति नेकपा (माओवादी) केन्द्रले कडा विरोध जनाएको छ । जिल्ला ईन्चार्ज राजकुमार शर्माले राजनैतिक प्रतिस्पर्धावाट डराएर काँग्रेसीहरु अपराधिक क्रियाकलापमा उत्रिएको वताए ।
