Clashes between representatives of different parties have been reported from at least two voting centres of Sindhupalchok district. Ward member Laxman Adhikari has been reported injured in the clash at the Kalikadevi Primary School voting centre in Makha of Balephi Rural Municipality-1. He has been taken to the Sindhu Sadabahar Hospital for treatment. Police had opened a round of fire in the air to contain the situation. Meanwhile, cadres of democratic and leftist alliances clashed at the Deurali Primary School voting centre in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality of the district. Three persons have sustained injuries in the incident. Police, however, contained the situation with a fire in the air and voting has resumed after a while.
