Chitwan/July 10 Most of the students studying in Shivalaya RA Primary School of Jutpani VDC-1 attend the school with their empty stomach. The students are compelled to come to the school with the empty stomach due to the poverty. The children, whose parents live their life in begging, come to the school starving, says Fadindra Lamichhane, principal of the school. He further said that it is difficult to bring the students to the school due to the financial situation of their parents. The government has implemented the policy of free education up to the primary level, however, it has a direct and indirect negative impact due to the poverty. The school has been facing difficulties to gather the students because of the insufficient physical infrastructure of the school and the poverty of the parents. He further said that most of the parents are from Dalit and other marginalized communities. Due to the lack of awareness, it is difficult to persuade the students to be regular. The total of 81 students are studying in the school. The school was established in 1988 and it is in a very poor condition. The financial help of 750,000 has been received from District Education Office, Chitwan for the construction of two-room building but the construction remains pending as the fund was insufficient. Sabitri Sapkota चितवन । ०७० असार २६ गते अधिकांश मजदुर अभिभावकका छोराछोरी अध्ययन गर्ने जुटपानी गाविस-१ गुराउचौरमा रहेको शिवालय राप्राविमा विद्यार्थीहरू भोकभोकै विद्यालय आउने गरेको पाईएको छ । गरिबीको कारण विहान बेलुका हातमुख जोर्न मुश्किन पर्ने अभिभावकाका बालबालिकाहरू खानेकुराको अभावका कारण भोकभोकै आउने गरेका हुन । मागेर विहान वेलुकाको गर्जो टार्ने अभिभावकका छोराछारीहरू भोकै विद्यालय आउने गरेको विद्यालयका प्रधानाध्यापक फडिन्द्र लामिछानेले बताए । अभिभावकाको आर्थिक अवस्थाले विद्यार्थीलाई विद्यालयमा ल्याउनै कठिन भएको उनले बताए । सरकारले मावि तहसम्म निशुल्क शिक्षाको ब्यवस्था गरे पनि गरिबीले यसमा प्रत्यक्ष वा अप्रत्यक्ष रुपमा नकरात्मक असर पारेको छ । शिक्षकहरू खानेकुरा लिएर घरमै गएर विद्यार्थी ल्याउने बाध्यकारी अवस्था सो विद्यालयमा रहेको छ । अभिभावक बिपन्न र विद्यालयको आर्थिक स्रोत नहुँदा विद्यालयको भौतिक पूर्वाधार निर्माण तथा बालबालिकालाई विद्यालयमा नियमित उपस्थित गराउँन कठिनाई भएको प्रधानाध्यापक लामिछानेले गुनासो पोखे । अधिकांश दलित तथा जनजातिका विद्यार्थी भएकाले जनचेतनाको अभावका कारण पनि बालबालिकालाई विद्यालयमा नियमित गराउन कठिन भएको उनले जानकारी दिए । कुमाल, बोटे, माझी, दलित समुदायको बाहुल्य रहेको सो विद्यालयमा ८१ जना विद्यार्थी अध्ययनरत छन् । वि.स.२०४५ सालमा स्थापना भएको सो विद्यायालयको सात कोठे भवन जीर्ण भईसकेको छ । विद्यालयको सहभागितामा दुई कोठे भवन निर्माणको लागि जिल्ला शिक्षा कार्यालय चितवनबाट ७ लाख ५० हजार रुपैया प्राप्त भए पनि साढे १० लाख रुपैया लाग्ने भएकाले भवन निर्माणको कार्यसमेत अलपत्र भएको छ । सावित्री सापकोटा
