Darchula/July 14 A complaint has been filed at the District Police Office against Dan Singh Dhami, 40, of Latinath VDC-8 on charge of trafficking a 17-year-old girl. The girl filed the complaint after being freed from the captivity. According to the victim, Dhami took her to Dharchula under the pretext of providing her medical treatment. The girl had gone to Dhaamghar in Khandeshwori on May 18 to collect the medicinal herb Yarshagumba. The victim stated that she was being sold under the pretext of getting married to an Indian army person of Bajani in Kalika, Dharchula. She had urged her brother to rescue her on June 29 after learning that she was sold to the army person. She filed the case after her brother took her to Darchula after rescuing her. The appeal of the victim has not been registered at the DPO. DSP Kuber Kadayat said that the case would be registered following a discussion between the two parties. Inspector Ganesh Bahadur Bam said that a discussion could not be held on July 14 after the victim's side was not able to show up. This is the first case of human trafficking filed in the district. The girl filed the complaint with the support from Women and Children's Office (WCO) Darchula on July 13. Officer at WCO Shanti BK said that her office had decided to provide 2,000 rupees to the victim after she was facing problem to eat and stay. BK added that the district committee on Human trafficking control had decided to support the victim. Narendra Singh Karki दार्चुला । ०७० असार ३० गते एक १७ वर्षीय बालिकालाई बेचबिखन गरेको आरोपमा लटिनाथ ८ का ४० वर्षीय दानसिंह धामीको नाममा जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय दार्चुलामा किटानी जाहेरी परेको छ । पीडित बालिकाले कब्जाबाट मुक्त भएपछि आरोपित धामीको नाममा जाहेरी दिएकी हुन् । जेठ ५ गते खण्डेश्वरीको धरमघरमा यार्सा संकलनको लागि पुगेकी ती बालिकालाई उपचार गर्न भन्दै धामीले धारचुला पुर्‍याइएको पीडितले बताइन् । आर्थिक समस्याका कारण उपचार गर्न नसकेका ती बालिकालाई धामीले उपचार गर्ने नाममा धारचुला पुर्‍याएको पीडित पक्षले आरोप लगाएको छ । धारचुला कालिकाको बजानी ठाउँका एकजना भारती सैनिकसँग विवाह गर्न पठाई आफूलाई बिक्री गर्न खोजेको पीडितले उल्लेख गरेकी छिन् । आफू सैनिककहाँ बेचिएको थाहा पाएपछि उनले असार १५ गते आफ्नो दाजुलाई फोन गरी उद्धार गर्न आग्रह गरेकी थिइन् । उनलाई दाजुले उद्धार गरी दार्चुला पुर्‍याएपछि निवेदन दिएकी हुन् । पीडित बालिकाको निवेदन जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा दर्ता हुन सकेको छैन । डिएसपी कुवेर कडायतका अनुसार दुवै पक्षबीचको छलफलपछि मुद्दा दर्ता गरिने बताए । गम्भीर प्रकृतिको केस पहिलो पटक परेका कारण दुवै पक्षबीच छलफल गर्नुपर्ने आवश्यकता रहेको उनले बताए । दुवै पक्षलाई असार ३० गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय बोलाएको भएपनि पीडित पक्ष उपस्थित नहुँदा छलफल हुन नसकेको इन्सपेक्टर गणेशबहादुर बमले बताए । मानव वेचबिखनसम्बन्धी जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा पहिलो पटक निवेदन परेको हो । बालिकाले असार २९ गते महिला तथा बालबालिका कार्यालय दार्चुलामा आर्थिक सहयोगको लागि निवेदन दिएकी छिन् । उनलाई खान बस्नै समस्या भएपछि महिला तथा बालबालिका कार्यालयले २ हजार रुपियाँ खर्च दिने निर्णय गरेको महिला तथा बालबालिका कार्यालयका अधिकृत शान्ति विकले बताइन् । मानव बेचबिखन तथा ओसारपसार नियन्त्रण जिल्ला समितिको बैठकले पीडितलाई सहयोग गर्ने निर्णय गरेको विकले जानकारी दिइन् । प्रमुख जिल्ला अधिकारी कृष्णबहादुर कटवालको अध्यक्षतामा असार ३० गते बसेको बैठकले सहयोग गर्ने निर्णय गरेको हो । नरेन्द्रसिह कार्की
