An unidentified group detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) at a polling centre in Chhireshwor Municipality in Dhanusha district on Tuesday evening. It went off on the premises of Chhireshwor Janata Higher Secondary School. Two polling centres have been set up in the community school for Thursday’s elections to the House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies. धनुषाको क्षरेश्वरनाथ नगरपालिका महेन्द्रनगरस्थित क्षिरेश्वर जनता उच्च माविको कम्पाउण्डमा म‌ंगलबार अपराह्न बम विस्फोट भएको छ । बम विस्फोटबाट विद्यालयको पर्खालमा सामान्य क्षति पुगेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय धनुषाले जनाएको छ । चुनावका लागि उक्त विद्यालयमा २ वटा मतदान केन्द्र तोकिएको छ ।
