Kathmandu/July 15 Operator of Samata Sikshya Niketan Uttam Sanjel has been injured when attacked by an unidentified group on July 14 evening. According to Sushil Adhikari, nephew of Sanjel, 8-10 motorcycle-borne persons attacked Sanjel while he was staying at the medical clinic of the school in Baudha, Kathmandu Municipality-6. Sushil said that Sanjel sustained serious injury to his nose and face. Sanjel received primary treatment at Medicare Hospital in Chabahil while Dr. Prakash Kafle operated his nose at Grande Hospital in Tokha on July 15. Teacher at the school Binod Pandey said that the assailants punched Sanjel who had arrived saying that they had to talk with the contractor of the school. The group fled after the attack. DSP Manoj KC of the Metropolitan Police Circle Baudha said that contractor of the school Ram Bahadur Bhujel was arrested in suspicion of the attack. Sanjel is a general member of Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC). Vivek Dhungana काठमाडौँ । ०७० असार ३१ गते समता शिक्षा निकेतनका सञ्चालक उत्तम सञ्जेलमाथि असार ३० गते साँझ साङ्घातिक आक्रमण भएको छ । काठमाडौँ मनपा-६ बौद्ध कुमारीगालस्थित समता स्कुलकै क्लिनिकमा बसिरहेका समयमा मोटरसाइकलमा आएका आठदेखि दश जनाको अपरिचित एक समूहले आक्रमण गर्दा सञ्जेलको नाक र अनुहारमा गहिरो चोट लागेको पीडितका भान्जा सुशिल अधिकारीले बताए । आक्रमणबाट घाइते भएका सञ्जेलको चाबहिलस्थित मेडिकेयर अस्पतालमा प्रारम्भिक उपचारपछि टोखास्थित ग्रान्डी अस्पतालमा असार ३१ गते डा. प्रकाश काफ्लेद्वारा नाकको शल्यक्रिया भएको अधिकारीले जनाए । स्कुलको ठेक्कापट्टा गर्ने ठेकेदारसँग लेनदेनको विषयमा कुरा गर्नु छ, भनि क्लिनिकमा पुगेका एक समूहले सञ्जेललाई मुक्का प्रहार गरी घाइते बनाएको समता स्कुलका शिक्षक बिनोद पाण्डेले बताए । आक्रमणपछि सो समूह फरार भएको थियो । घटनामा सङ्लग्न रहेको आशङ्कामा महानगरीय प्रहरी वृत बौद्ध प्रहरीले स्कुलका ठेकेदार रामबहादुर भुजेललाई गिरफ्तार गरी सोधपुछ गरिरहेको वृतका डीएसपी मनोज केसीले बताए । बयानका क्रममा रामबहादुर भुजेलले सुशिल राई भन्ने व्यक्तिको सङ्लग्नता हुनसक्ने बताएको डीएसपी केसीले जानकारी दिए । समता शिक्षा निकेतनका सञ्चालक सञ्जेल अनौपचारिक क्षेत्र सेवा केन्द्र (इन्सेक) का साधारण सदस्य पनि हुन् । विवेक ढुङ्गाना
