One arrested for attempting to cast proxy vote

20-year-old Ram Narayan Mahato was arrested on Thursday from Janata Secondary School Hatihanda voting centre situated at Barahathwa municipality-5 for trying to cast a proxy vote in the name of Nagendra Singh, a resident of the same place.
Police are further investigating the case.
