The body of a man was found in Buldikhola of Byas municipality-2 in Tanahun on Tuesday morning. According to Sub-Inspector Manoj Pandey at District Police Office, Tanahun, the deceased has been identified as Om Bahadur BK, 25, of Chamling, Gorkha, who had been residing at Byas Municipality-4. "A deep cut can be seen on BK's head. He might have died after being assaulted", said Pandey. "The body has been sent to Damauli Hospital for post-mortem and investigation into the incident is underway," said police. update......................... Tanahun District Police Office today made public the persons involved in the murder of Om Bahadur Sunar, 25, of Chyangling, Gorkha on December 26. His body was recovered from the banks of Buldikhola in Byas Municipality-2 10 days ago. According to the DSP at Tanahun District Police Office Sunil Malla, the accused have been identified as Mahendra Gurung aka Thune, Rup Singh Gurung, 42 aka Twake Maila and Devan Gurung, 22, of Byas Municipality-3 of the district while others have been identified as Nirmala Gurung aka Bipana and her sister Bimala Gurung of Dhorje Thati, Gorkha who had rented rooms at Galbubeshi of Byas Municipality, Tanahun. The youths were involved in an altercation with Sunar while the latter was drinking alcohol at Mirlung Star Hotel in Byas Municipality-1 on December 26. Nirmala and Bimala also were together at the hotel. “The youths hit him to death with a boulder on reaching Buldikhola stream as per the statement of the two ladies,” said DSP Malla. “A murder case has been filed against all the accused and further investigation is underway,” said police.
