Police have rescued 20 children from being trafficked to India on January 9. All children were being taken to Himanchal Pradesh of India by bus pretexting them for teaching Tibetan language. All children were rescued by police after no evidence were found by the police that they were taken for teaching language according to DPO. Police have also arrested 29 years old Tchering Tanduk Tamang of Patarasi Rural Municipality-3 and Karma Lama 32 of the same place for the investigation according to inspector Chudamani Pun. The rescued children are of age from 7 to 14 according to police. Police had interrogated after finding large number of children being taken in a bus. The name and photos of the children are not made public and they will be handed over to their parents after discussion. तिला गाउँपालिकास्थित कुडारी प्रहरी चौकी जुम्लाले भारत लैजाँदै गरेका २० जना बालकको आज दिउँसो उद्धार गरेको छ । उद्धार गरिएका सबै बालक जुम्ला पातारासी गाउँपालिका ७ र ८ हुरी, महरी, पेरे र तल्फी गाउँका रहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय जुम्लाका निमित्त प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक चुडामणि पुनले जानकारी दिए । यता कुडारी प्रहरी चौकीका प्रमुख प्रहरी नायब निरीक्षक हिरालाल बस्नेतले नेपालगन्ज जाँदै गरेको गाडीको जेकजाँचका क्रममा २० जना बालबालिका भेटिएको बताए । ‘उनीहरूलाई कहाँ जाने भनेर सोधपुछ गरे, लामा पढ्न भारत जाने भनेपछि उनीहरूलाई लैजाँदै गरेका दुई जनासँग कागज मागे तर भेटाइन । पछि सबैलाई जाँचबुझ गरेर मात्र छोड्नुपर्छ भनेर जिल्ला पठाएँ’ उनले भने । सबै बालकलाई आज जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयको महिला प्रहरी सेलमा राखिएको छ । अभिभावकको सहमतिमा लिन थालिएको भनिएपनि आधिकारिक कागजात केही नभएको र बालकहरूलाई भारततर्फ लैजाँदै गरेका पातारासी गाउँपालिकाकै दुवै जनालई अनुसन्धानका लागि हिरासत कक्षमा राखिएको निमित्त प्रनाउ पुनले बताए । आधिकारिक कागजात विना भारत लैजाँदै गरेका बालकहरूका अवस्थाका बारेमा बुझ्न पातारासी गाउँपालिकाका अध्यक्ष र अभिभावकलाई बोलाइएको पनि उनले जानकारी दिए ।
