Banke DR reported that the bomb diffusal unit of Inamnagar Barrack at Ranjha destroyed two bombs found on the Ratna Highway in Manikapur9 on January 6.

According to DSP Uday Tamang of District Police Office, Banke the bombs were placed in a sack which was filled with soil. It was sighted at around 4 am along with a pamphlet of Bhagat Singh faction of Jantantrik Tarai Madhes Mukti Party.

Police added that there were three sacks, in two of which were a pipe bomb and a socket bomb respectively while the third one had only the soil.
