An eight-year-old boy was found murdered in a cold blood at Rajpur Municipality-9 in Rautahat district on Tuesday. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Kumar Dani said the body of Mophujan Dewan was discovered in a mustard field at Baraiya area near Nepal-India border. The boy had sustained deep cut injury in his neck, added DSP Dani. The body was taken to District Hospital in Gaur for postmortem. Mophujan had left the house with his two friends in the morning to see the procession of Saraswoti idol immersion. Friends and family members of Mophujan have claimed that he was murdered for touching the Saraswoti idol, because he belonged to the Muslim faith. Police has arrested five suspects in connection to the boy’s murder. DSP Dani said the case was under investigation. The local administration has strengthened security in the area to avert untoward incidents. राजपुर नगरपालिका-९ का आठ वर्षीय मफजुल देवानको घाँटी रेटी हत्या गरेको अवस्थामा माघ ९ गते प्रहरीले शव फेला पारेको छ । राजपुर नपा-९ बलुवाटोल नजिकैको बगैँचामा घाँटी रेटी हत्या भएको अवस्थामा बालकको शव स्थानीयले देखेपछि प्रहरीलाई खबर गरेका थिए । बालकको हत्या माघ ८ गते राति भएको हुनसक्ने प्रहरीको आशङ्का गरेको छ । बालकको टाउकोको पछिल्लो भागमा धारिलो हतियार प्रहार भएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रौतहटले जनाएको छ । मृतक बालकको शव पोष्टमार्टमका लागि गौर अस्पतालमा लगिएको र घटनाको अनुुसन्धान भइरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रौतहटका डिएसपि रामकुमार दानीले बताए । सरस्वती पुजाको विषयलाई लिएर माघ ८ गते स्थानीय बालकहरु बिच झगडा भएकोमा आज उनको शव भेटिएको स्थानीयले बताएका छन् । बालकको हत्या कसले र किन गर्‍यो भन्ने नखुलेको प्रहरीले जनायो ।
