A 46-year-old man has been arrested by Birtamod police on Tuesday on the charge of his wife's murder. The arrested has been identified as Dewan Tudu of Birtamod-9. Police arrested him from Sainikdanda. Dewan reportedly beat his wife to death on the evening of January 6. Dewan has been put in custody for investigation after being presented at the district court. श्रीमती शान्ति टुडुको हत्या आरोपमा प्रहरीले बिर्तामोड नगरपालिका-९ का ४६ वर्षीय देवान टुडुलाई पक्राउ गरेको छ ।गएको पुस २२ गते राति श्रीमतीलाई कुटपिट गरी हत्या गरेको आरोपमा टुडुलाई मंगलबार सैनिकडाँडाबाट पक्राउ गरेको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय बिर्तामोडले जनाएको छ ।पक्राउ परेका टुडुलाई जिल्ला अदालत झापाबाट म्याद थप गरी अनुसन्धान अघि बढाएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय बिर्तामोडका प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक कृष्ण कोइरालाले जानकारी दिए ।
