Morang/July 27 National Women Commission, on July 27, has investigated the incident of inhuman treatment of a woman and a journalist of Karamdanda in Belbari VDC-3. The 3-member team was led by NWC member Mohana Ansari and comprised of Nepal Police Central Women Directorate DIG Bimala Thapa and NWC staff Dabalkaji Bajracharya. The victims, Maya Sarki, 35, and local Fight weekly’s executive director Manoj Bishwakarma, 28, police, rights activists, media persons, witness and other stakeholders were met by the team, Ansari informed. She added the report of the mission would be made public in Kathmandu soon. D
