An Ncell tower based at Bachhyauli in Ratnanagar Municipality-6 of Chitwan district was bombed on Monday night. According to chief of Area Police Office, Ratnanagar, Deputy Superintendent of Police Basudev Khatiwada, a pressure cooker bomb exploded targeting the Ncell tower, damaging the device installed in it, around midnight on Monday. Although the explosion damaged the device, the tower was not affected, police added. Police have suspected the involvement of cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist behind the bombing of the tower. The NCell tower has been installed in a hired land belonging to local Shiva Narayan Chaudhary where there is no police post. पूर्वी चितवनको रत्ननगर नगरपालिका वडा नं ६, बछ्यौलीमा रहेको एनसेलको टावर र उपकरणमा गएराति अज्ञात समूहले कुकर बम विस्फोट गराएको छ । रत्ननगर इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालयका प्रमुख प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक वासुदेव खतिवडाका अनुसार राति करिब १२ बजेको समयमा बम विस्फोट भएको थियो । विस्फोटनबाट एनसेलको उपकरणमा क्षति पुगेपनि टावरमा भने केही नभएको उनले बताए । विप्लव नेतृत्वको नेपाल कम्युनिष्टका कार्यकर्ताले विस्फोट गराएको हुनसक्ने प्रहरीले अनुमान गरेको छ । स्थानीय शिवनारायण चौधरीको जग्गा भाडामा लिएर एनसेलले उपकरण र टावर जडान गरेको थियो । प्रहरी नायब उपरीक्षक खतिवडाले एनसेलका बिटिएस राखिएका अधिकांशस्थल मानवबस्ती कम भएको ठाउँमा रहेको र सुरक्षागार्ड नराखेका कारण सुरक्षा समस्या देखिएको बताए । घटनापछि आफूले पूर्वी क्षेत्रमा रहेका अधिकांश बिटिएस निरीक्षण गर्दा सुरक्षाको व्यवस्था सम्बन्धित कम्पनीले नगरेको पाइएको उनले बताए ।
