Dhading/November 11 Cadres of Samyukta Jatiya Mukti Morcha (SJMM) have torched two vehicles near Damechaur of Tasarpu VDC on charge of defying the band called by them on November 11. The vehicles which were heading to Kathmandu from Birgunj were vandalized and torched along the Naubise-Tasarpu section of Tribhuwan highway. The SJMM, which had been organizing bandhs since November 3 demanding peace and constitution, had called for a band on November 11 after its cadres were arrested from various places. Dhading in-charge of the group Pritam Shrestha claimed responsibility for the arson. The bandh had no effect in the district. Inspector Dal Bahadur Bogati of the area police office Gajuri said that police team was deployed in the highway for security.
