The Natoinal Human Rights Commission has started an investigation in the police encounter of gangster Manoj Pun and Som Bahadur Ale. The duo were killed in Police encounter in Rupandehi. Spokesperson of NHRC Mohana Ansari said that NHRC has given full authoroty to NHRC's Butwal office to investigate into the incident. NHRC Butwal, branch officer Chandrakant Chapagain said that they had started investigation into the matter by visiting the site of the encounter. NHRC officials have also collected statements from the relatives of the deceased duo. बुधबार प्रहरी इन्काउन्टर मारिएका गुन्डा नाइके मनोज पुन र सोमबहादुर आलेको विषयमा लिएर राष्ट्रिय मानव अधिकार आयोगले अनुसन्धान शुरु गरेको छ। आयोगकी प्रवक्ता मोहना अन्सारीले घटनाको विषयमा बुटवलमा रहेको मानवअधिकारको कार्यालयलाई सम्पूर्ण अनुसन्धान गर्ने जिम्मा दिइएको बताए। शाखाका अधिकृत चन्द्रकान्त चापागाइँले अनुसन्धान सुरु भइसकेको बताए। 'हामीले घटनास्थलको अवलोकन गर्दै केही आफन्तसँग कुराकानी गरिरहेका छौं,' उनले भने। आयोगले अनुसन्धान शुरु गर्ने भएपछि मृतकका आफन्तले बुधवार शव बुझेर अन्त्येष्टि गरिसकेका छन्। यसअघि उनीहरुले शव बुझ्न अस्वीकार गरेका थिए। बुधबार बिहान रुपन्देहीको देवदह नगरपालिका भवानीपुर ४ मा प्रहरीको इन्काउन्टरमा पुन र आलेको मृत्यु भएको थियो।
