An unidentified group detonated an improvised explosive device at Madhuwan Municipality office in Bardiya district on Sunday evening. Police said the window panes of the office building were smashed while the and compound wall of the office were damaged in the explosion. The incident site is about 14 km west from Gulariya, the district headquarters of Bardiya. (PR) आइतबार साँझ पौने ६ बजे मधुवन नगरपालिकामा बम विस्फोट भएको छ । विस्फोटबाट मानविय क्षती नभएपनि कार्यालयको सिसा फुट्नुका साथै पर्खाल चर्किएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ । विस्फोटको जिम्मा अहिलेसम्म कसैले लिएको छैन । प्रहरी नायव उपरिक्षक युवाज खड्काका अनुसार विस्फोट पछि जिल्लामा सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कडा पारिएको छ । अज्ञात समूहले फोनमा जानकारी गराए अनुसार मधुवन नगरपालिकाले गाउँ नम्बर १७ मा बसोबास गर्दै आएका सुकुम्बासीलाई हटाउने लागेको विरोधमा विस्फोट गराएको जनाएको छ । घटनास्थल सदरमुकाम गुलरिया देखि करिब १४ किमी पश्चिममा पर्द छ ।
