A case has been filed against priest Balaram Bhattarai and his helper Shrikrishna Nepal on a charge of untouchability and caste discrimination against Purna Bahadur B.K and Tek Bahadur B.K, residents of Punarbas-6, on February 27. The victim has a state that accused a priest and his helper has made the rules that so-called lower caste people are not allowed to worship with so-called higher caste people and also the offering of the devotees from lower and upper caste people should be separated. Police are investigating further about the case on the basis of complained filed by the people. पुनर्वास नपा-६ का टेकबहादुर बिक र पुर्ण बहादुर बिकलाई पुनर्वास नपा-६ स्थित सय नम्बर चोक मा रहेको मन्दिरमा शिवरात्रीको दिन मन्दिरका पुजारीले जातीय विभेद गरेको आरोपमा फागुन १५ गते इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय त्रिभुवनवस्तीमा पुजारीविरूद्ध उजुरी दर्ता गरिएको छ । मन्दिरका पुजारी बलराम भट्टराई र पुजारीका सहयोगी श्रीकृष्ण नेपालले दलित समुदायका मान्छेहरूले गैरदलितहरूसँग मन्दिरमा पूजा अर्चना गर्न नपाइने र दलित भक्तजनले ल्याएको प्रसाद अन्यसँग मिसाउन हुँदैन भनी जातीय भेदभाव तथा छुवाछुतजन्य कार्यलाई प्रोत्साहन गरेको पीडित पक्षको आरोप छ । उजुरीका आधारमा घटनाको अनुसन्धान भइरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय कञ्चनपुरका डिएसपी ज्ञानबहादुर सेठीले बताए ।
