Sushila Kawar, 35 of Rajpur Rural Municipality-7 was beaten by her neighbours on March 2 after alleging her of being witch. She was beaten by Purna Bahadur Basnet, Khop Bahadur Nepali, Dhan Bahadur Kawar, Harka Bahadur Kawar and Manoj Kawar in command of local Indra Bahadur Bhandary according to the victim. The victim’s party has lodged a complaint at Area Police Office of Gadhawa on March 1. The victim was severely beaten by the accused while she was in her house. She sustained serious back injury and receiving treatment at Lamahi Hospital. Inspector Pramod Chettri said that the search for the accused is undergoing. कथित बोक्सीको अरोपमा राजपुर गाउँपालिका-७ की ३५ वर्षीया सुशीला कवरलाई छिमेकीहरूले फागुन १८ गते साँझ कुटपिट गरेका छन् । स्थानीय इन्द्रबहादुर भण्डारीको नेतृत्वमा गएका पूर्णबहादुर बस्नेत, खोपबहादुर नेपाली, धनबहादुर कवर, लक्ष्मी कवर, हर्कबहादुर कवर र मनोज कवरले कुटपिट गरेको पीडितले आरोप लगाएकी छन् । पीडित पक्षले इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय गढवामा फागुन १९ गते उजुरी दिएको छ । घरमा बसिरहेकी सुशीलालाई काम छ भनी आँगनमा बोलाएर निर्घातकुटपिट गरेको पीडितले बताइन् । ढाडमा गम्भीर चोट लागेकी कवरको लमही अस्पतालमा उपचार भइरहेको छ । कुटपिटमा संलग्नहरूको खोजी भइरहेको इप्रका गढवाका इन्स्पेक्टर प्रमोद क्षेत्रीले बताए ।
