A girl is undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for her injuries sustained after being raped last year.

  The human rights organizations including INSEC, HimRights and WOREC are provide the support to the girl since December 28.

Her family was seeking help for her treatment given the very poor economic status of the girl.

  The 7-year-old girl suffered severe injuries when she was raped and her guardians said she was having problems in defecation because of the injuries.

  The girl was raped allegedly by one Raj Kumar Das of Siraha Municipality-4 on November last year. The accused is still absconding.
