Police have arrested a man on January 24 on charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Sobhit Lamsal, 28, of Tanahun and currently living in Hetaunda Municipality-9 is charged with raping the girl, who is mentally ill, alluring her with a promise of sweets on January 7.

Inspector Indra Prasad Subedi said the girl was raped at her home when she was alone there. <
