The District Police Office made 17-year-old boy of Tarsapur VDC-9 public after arresting him with help from locals on August 17. The accused is in custody for further investigation. Involvement of other four accused was revealed following the victim's statement, police said, adding that search for them is underway. The victim was raped at first by the 17-year-old near a bush on August 16 while she was returning home from a mill on August August 16 and the others raped [her] after that, according to preliminary investigation of the police. The victim girl underwent a medical checkup at District Hospital, Dhading and she is kept at the Safe House of Advocacy Centre for further treatment and socio-psychological counseling.
