Bardiya,Bevarise avasthama bhetiyeko socket bomb senadwara nishkriya. Bardiya/August 21 Nepal Army has defused nine abandoned socket bombs at Shahipur in Baganaha VDC-1 on August 21. The Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were found while digging field belonging to one Ram Lakhan Chaudhary of same place. The bombs were found wrapped in a plastic bag. Chaudhary said that he had informed police after finding the bombs. Police had instantly reached the site and cordoned off the area after learning about the bombs. Police had coordinated with the Nepal Army to defuse the bombs. According to police, the bombs might have been buried by Maoists during the conflict period.
