Rupandehi/August 25 Saraswati Aryal alias Saru, 31, of Belbhariya in Semlar VDC-7 has been strangulated to death by her husband Janardan Aryal alias Janak, 35. It is learnt that the killing took place on August 23 after her maternal family filed an FIR at Butwal Area Police Office on August 24. The relatives, hailing from Kodauli of the same VDC, claimed she was first strangulated and then poisoned. Krishna, the younger brother of the deceased said that there were bruises around the neck and also on other parts of the body. They filed the FIR after the 8-year-old elder son of the deceased told them that his father beat the mother and strangulated her. She also had younger son, aged 6. The couple had love marriage 10 years ago. Cause of the murder has not been known yet. The post mortem of the body was conducted at Lumbini Zonal Hospital and funeral was held on August 24. The accused was arrested on August 24, Saljhandi Area Police Office’s Inspector Bishwaraj Adhikari said adding that they were waiting for the post mortem report to proceed the case. A
