The ward office 8 and 9 at Panchkhapan Municipality has been closed since three days after the ward chairmen were threatened by the cadres if Nepal Communist party led by Netra Bikram Chand. The cadres of Nepal Communist party had put the flag in the office premises on the night of April 12 and threatened not to open the offices by releasing the press statement according to ward chairman Chatra Neupane of ward number 8. The press release stated that this is the protest against the present government. Ward chairman Neupane said that the cadres had phoned the office and threatened to take action if the office is opened. The beneficiaries are facing difficulties after the disruption of the services due to the closure of ward offices. The incident is under the investigation according to police inspector Bed Prasad Gautam. पाँचखपन नगरपालिकाको ८ र ९ नम्बरका वडा अध्यक्ष माथि नेत्रविक्रम चन्द नेतृत्वको नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टीका कार्यकर्ताले धम्की दिएपछि तीन दिनदेखि वडा कार्यालय बन्द भएका छन् । गत चैत २९ गते राति नेकपाका कार्यकर्ताले चुङखुरुङमा रहेको संयुक्त वडा कार्यालय परिसरमा झण्डा गाडेर विज्ञप्ति प्रकाशन गर्दै कार्यालय नखोल्ने उल्लेख गरेको वडा नम्बर ८ का अध्यक्ष छत्र न्यौपानेले बताए । अहिलेको लडाइ दलाल सरकारको विरूद्व भएको र दलाल सरकारका सम्पूर्ण काम काज ठप्प पार्ने नेकपाद्वारा जारी विज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख छ । नेकपाका कार्यकताले विभिन्न नम्बरबाट फोन गर्दै कार्यालय खोले कडा कारबाही गर्ने धम्कीसमेत दिएको वडा अध्यक्ष न्यौपाने बताए । अहिले उत्पन्न भएको समस्याका बारेमा जिल्ला प्रशासन कार्यालय र सुरक्षा निकायमा खबर गरिसकिएको पाँचखपन नगरपालिकाका मेयर विपिन राईले बताए । उनले भने-‘आइतबार नै कार्यपालिकाको बैठक बसेपनि ठप्प भएको कामकाजको कसरी समाधान गर्ने भन्ने विषयमा कुनै ठोस निकास आउन सकेको छैन ।’ कार्यालय अनिश्चितकालका लागि बन्द भएपछि सेवाग्राही मारमा परेका छन् । यस घटनाको अनुसन्धान भइरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सङ्खुवासभाका इन्स्पेक्टर बेदप्रसाद गौतमले बताए ।
