Morang/August 31 Roma Adhikari, 40, of Tintoliya in Biratnagar Sub-metropolis-13 has been evicted from home by her husband Keshar Bhattarai, 45, on August 30. The victim was beaten and expelled along with her children when she demanded that he [take] care of them. She has filed a complaint at the District Police Office on August 30. According to Jamuna Basnet, chief of the Women and Children Service Centre of the DPO, the victim stated in her complaint that her children and she [were] mentally tortured by her husband. Both sides had reached an agreement when she had filed a complaint at the DPO before. The DPO has summoned the accused.
