Sopendra Yadav, a CPN-MC cadre of Marewa in Karjanha municipality was murdered in Siraha last night. 50-year-old Yadav was murdered on the way home from his cowshed on the banks of the western banks of the Kamala river, which is located almost one kilometer away from his house, according to DPO Siraha. It is said that his neck was slit with a sharp weapon. the locals had informed the security personnel after they spotted the body near their houses. "investigation is underway t find out who murdered him and what was the motive behind the murder", said DSP Rajan Bhetwal. The body was handed over to his family after a post-mortem was conducted at the district hospital.
