50-year-old Ram Ekwaal Mahato, a resident of Godaita-4 was arrested on Tuesday in accusation of beating his neighbor to death. 60-year-old Shiva Lochan Mahato was injured after being beaten in a dispute relating to alcohol on May 3. Lochan succumbed to injuries on May 8 while receiving treatment at a local health post. Police is further investigating into the incident. छिमेकीलाई कुटपिट गरी हत्या गरेको अभियोगमा गोडैता नगरपालिका-४ बस्ने ५० वर्षीय राम एकवाल महतोलाई मंगलबार प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । मादक पदार्थ सेवन गरेको बिषयलाई लिएर बैशाख २० गते कुटपिट गर्दा घाइते भएका सोही ठाउँ बस्ने ६० वर्षीय शिव लोचन महतोको स्थानिय मेडिकलमा उपचारको क्रममा मंगलबार मृत्यु भएको थियो । यस सम्बन्धमा प्रहरीले आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
