CPN activist arrested on extortion charge

Police on Sunday arrested an activist of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) on extortion charge. Surya Bam Thakuri, 19, was apprehended from Tripurasundari Municipality in the district. Police also seized the so-called donation receipts from Thakuri. (PR)
