Youth Association Nepal (YAN) cadres Manoj Khadka and Alis Gurung of Biratnagar submetropolis-15 have been arrested on January 10 on charge of attacking an inmate inside the court premises.

The duo was arrested on charge of attacking Abhishek Giri, who was brought to the district court for hearing from Jhumka prison on June 5, 2011.

Inspect Kamal Khattri of the district police office said that the duo who was absconding since seven months were arrested by a special team from Bargachi and Janapath tol of Biratnagar. They were wanted for attempted murder. Wife of Abhisekh had filed a case against 14 persons at the police office.
