Min Bahadur BC, resident of Birendranagar-9, has accused his brother in law Bhim Bahadur Thapa of killing his sister Laxmi Thapa. According to BC, Rita Thapa (deceased's daughter) and his brother-in-law Bhim Bahadur were involved in the murder. They have also accused them that on April 17, they did the postmortem of her body without letting the family members know. There were bruises in her body, her clothes were torn and her neck was broken. Uma Prasad Chaturwedi, Police Chief of Surkhet district said that they will investigate further about the case and will take strict action against the ones involved in the incident. बीरेन्द्रनगर-९ का मिनबहादुर विसीले ज्वाइ भिमबहादुर थापाले बहिनी लक्ष्मी थापाको हत्या गरेको आरोप लगाएका छन्। सत्यकाडास्थित आफ्नै घरमा भान्जी रिता थापा (मृतककी छोरी) र श्रीमान् भिमबहादुर थापाले लक्ष्मीको हत्या गरेको बिसी ले आरोप लगाएका छन्। उनले बहिनीको हत्यामा संलग्न रिता र भिमबहादुरलाई कारवाहीका लागि प्रशासनमा जादा समेत मुद्दा दर्ता नगरेर अन्यायमा परेको बताएका छन्। घटना भएको दिन बैशाख ४ गते प्रहरी घटनास्थलमै पुगेर पनि माइती पक्षलाई थहा नदिई पोष्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट गरेको र जनप्रतिनिधिहरुको मिलेमतोमा दोषीलाई छुट्याएको भन्दै आफु अन्यायमा परेको बताए। घटनाको प्रकृति हेर्दा कपडा च्यातिएको, शरीरमा निलडाम र घांटी भाचिएको देख्दादेख्दै पनि प्रहरीले जाहेरी नलिएर अन्याय गरेको बताए। जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सुर्खेतका प्रमुख उमा प्रसाद चतुर्वेदीका अनुसार घटनाको बिषयमा केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्युरोले अध्यन गरिरहेको भन्दै दोषी देखिए कानूनी दायरामा ल्याइने बताए।
