45-year-old Lekh Bahadur Bhujel, a resident of Mithila municipality, Badhari, was beaten to death by locals on June 6. The locals attacked him while he was trying to enter Sarita Poudel's house carrying a knife, with an intention to steal. Bhujel had received severe injuries and he succumbed to the injuries while receiving treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital. Investigation regarding the incident is on-going. चोरी गर्ने उद्धेश्यले चक्कु बोकी हिँडिरहेको अवस्थामा स्थानीय बासिन्दाले कुटपिट गर्दा मिथिला नगरपालिका बडहरी बस्ने ४५ वर्षीय लेखबहादुर भुजेलको मृत्यु भएको छ । गएराति सोही ठाउँ बस्ने सरिता पौडेलको घरमा चोरी गर्ने उद्धेश्यले चक्कु बोकी प्रवेश गर्न लागेको अवस्थामा स्थानीय बासिन्दाले भुजेललाई कुटपिट गर्दा गम्भीर घाइते भएकोले मोडल अस्पताल हुँदै जनकपुर अंचल अस्पताल लगिएकोमा उपचारकै क्रममा उनको मृत्यु भएको हो । यस सम्बन्धमा प्रहरीले आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
