JANAKPUR, SEP 30 - Police made public on Sunday three people arrested on the charge of murdering assistant professor Satyanarayan Gaderi two days ago in Dhanusha. Laxmeshwor Raut of Bahuarwa was caught in Kathmandu while two others Lalan Pasaman and Nanda Kumar Pasaman were held in Dhanusha. Raut, who is currently living in Janakpur, is said to be the mastermind of the murder while two others Lalan and Nanda Kumar were used by him as contract killers. Raut confessed at the press meet to have murdered Gaderi over a land row. Raut is an administrative officer at the Regional Office of Nepal Electricity Authority at Mujeliya. Superintendent of Police Uttamraj Subedi said that Raut had agreed to give Lalan and Nanda Kumar Rs 100,000 to murder Gaderi. He said Raut gave Lalan Rs 18,000 in advance to purchase a pistol. Gaderi, who was assistant professor at Janak Hajari Bidhyapith in Janakpur, was murdered on Friday. His body was found at Kurtha VDC-6 near Janakpurdham.
