Morang/October 1 Rubeda Khatun, 30, of Kadmaha VDC-4 has filed a complaint at the police on October 1 accusing her husband Raman Mansuri of beating and expelling her from home. According to the District Police Office, the victim stated, in her complaint, that Raman frequently beat her in inebriated condition since two months. Shanti Mehata, social mobilizer of the Woman Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) Biratnagar where the victim was taking refuge at the Centre after the incident. Women and Children Service Centre of the DPO said that investigation was ongoing into the incident.
