Police arrested Arjun Kumar Sah, 32, of Sahebgunj, Sunsari, and Abdul Kadir, 26, an Indian national of Pathardeva, Nepalgunj, with two pistols. The detainees were made public at the district police office today. According to Morang Police Spokesperson DSP Deepak Pokharel, Kadir was long involved in bringing arms from India and selling them in Nepal. Police said they have seized an automatic pistol and an empty magazine and a motorbike with a Nepali number plate. Police seized an automatic pistol and five rounds of bullets that Sah had bought from Kadir, and a motorbike. Police said Kadir and Sah smuggled arms into Nepal and then supplying them to different places in Nepal.
