Police have arrested 28 years old Jag lal Kewat of Kotahimai Rural Municipality-1 on August 2 on charge of raping 28 years old woman. The victim had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office on August 2 on charge of rape on the same day. The accused was arrested from his house on a same day based on a complaint lodged by the victim according to inspector Shanker Pokhrel of Area Police Office of Lumbini. The victim underwent a health checkup at Bhim Hospital of Bhairahawa on August 2. २८ वर्षीया महिलालाई बलात्कार गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले कोटहीमाई गाउँपालिका–१ का २८ वर्षीय जगलाल केवटलाई आरोपितको घरबाटै साउन १७ गते गिरफ्तार गरेको छ । पीडित महिलालाई आरोपितले साउन १७ गते बलात्कार गरेको भनी पीडितले सोही दिन इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय लुम्बिनीमा उजुरी दिएकी थिइन् । पीडित महिलाले दिएको उजुरीका आधारमा आरोपितलाई गिरफ्तार गरी कारबाही अगाडि बढाइएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय, लुम्बिनीका इन्स्पेक्टर शङ्कर पोखरेलले जानकारी दिए । पीडित महिलाको स्वास्थ परीक्षण साउन १७ गते नै भिम अस्पताल भैरहवामा गरिएको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ ।
