One Hari BK of Bajung VDC has been arrested on January 9 on charge of raping a 13-year-old girl. The girl is a student at Mahendrashikhari Secondary School .

The girl's father filed an FIR at District Police Office accusing BK of raping the girl at place called Danda as she was returning home from the school.

Police said investigation into the case was going on.

Meanwhile, in Makawanpur, the District Court has sentenced a 17-year-old youth to 15 years in prison and fined Rs 30,000 on the charge of rape of a 6-year-old girl. Man Bahadur Muktan of Sukaura-8 who was accused of raping the girl on January 18, 2011.
