Syanja/ October 29 At least two people have been killed in a police firing following the dispute over sucide case of Maya BK of Chapakot VDC-5 on October 29. The deceased are Surya Ale,21, of Chapakot VDC-6 and Krishna Bhattarai,18, of the same VDC-4. The locals were exerting pressure on the police to investigate the death of Maya which they claim as murder. The locals attacked the police post in Chapakot saying that police had not taken any steps. Five policemen, including Inspector Krisna Bahadur Thapa were also injured in the incident. Police fired in air to control the mob, according to Inspector Santosh tamang of District Police Office. The two locals were killed in the same firing, he said.
