School Director Injured in Attack by Unidentified Gang

Ishwar Anshu Magar, 45, director of Annapurna Boarding School at Pathari1 has been critically injured when an unidentified gang attacked him with a sharp weapon he was sleeping at his home on January 18.

 

Injured Magar has been taken to Siliguri of India after his treatment was not possible at Dharan based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Keshav Bhattarai, Inspector at Pathari Area Police Office said.

 

The unidentified has had attacked Magar to his head, hands and various organs of body with khukuri while he was sleeping at his home nearby the school at midnight, police said, adding that Magar's right hand has been chopped off from the attack.

 

Meanwhile, Yuva Sangh Nepal and PABSON regional committee have condemned the incident by issuing separate press releases on January 19.
