Baglung, Dang ra Baglund ma band le janjivan prabhavit. BAGLUNG: Nov 1: The banda called by the CPN-Maoist-led 33 party alliance since early Firday morning has hit hard normal life. The alliance organized the banda as part of their scheduled protests against the preparations for the forthcoming CA election. They have further demanded to release their cadres and to forge national consensus, said Tek Bahadur KC, central member of CPN-Maoist. The banda has affected the normal life in Baglung and Myagdi districts. With the enforcement of the banda, public transport is halted and vehicles have stayed off the roads. Market places and educational institutions are closed in these districts. The first day of Yamapanchak begins from today and people are badly affected from the banda. Meanwhile, normal life in Dang district has been affected today due to western Nepal banda called by the CPN-Maoist. Co In-charge of the CPN-Maoist, Dang, Sheetal, said that the party has called western Nepal banda today demanding release of its cadres arrested from different places in course of protesting election to the Constituent Assembly (CA). Long-route and short-route traffic has been halted in the district from morning due to banda, according to the Traffic Police Office, Dang.Markets, factories and educational institutions have been completely closed. Sheetal said that local markets of districts would be opened from 12:00 noon today in view of the upcoming Tihar festival.The party had organised a torch rally in different parts of Dang district on the eve of the banda, Thursday evening.
