Sunsari/November 5 Punam Sahani, 45, who runs a hotel in Itahari Municipality-8, has been slain by her son-in-law in the night on November 4. Anil Chaudhary, 42, of Sonapur VDC-4 attacked Punam in her neck with khukuri over a family dispute at her hotel. He had reached the hotel to take back his second wife Sunita Sahan and 1-year-old daughter. Punam had attacked Anil with the khukuri in the kitchen after which he snatched the weapon and attacked her in her neck twice. The woman died on the way while being taken to BPKIHS Dharan, DSP Bidhyananda Mahi of the Area Police Office Itahari said. Body of the deceased was handed over to her family after post-mortem. According to police, Anil has been arrested and held at the APO Itahari for investigation. Sukdev Chaudhary इटहरी नपा-८ मा होटल सञ्चालन गर्दै आएकी ४५ वर्षीया पुनम सहनीलाई कात्तिक १८ गते राती ज्वाईले घाँटीमा खुकुरी प्रहार गरी हत्या गरेका छन् । सोनापुर गाविस-३ का ४२ वर्षीय अनिल चौधरीले घरायसी विवादलाई लिएर सासू सहनीले सञ्चालन गर्दै आएको होटलमा पुगी हत्या गरेका हुन् । कान्छी पत्नी सुनिता सहनी तथा १ वर्षीया छोरीलाई लिन ससुराली पुगेको चौधरी सासूसँग पत्नी र छोरी घर लानका लागि भएको विवादमा भान्सामा राखिएको खुकुरी सासूले ज्वाइलाई प्रहार गरेपछि सोही क्रममा ज्वाईले खुकुरी खोसेर सासुको घाँटीमा दुई पल्ट प्रहार गरेका थिए । उनको धरान स्थित बिपि कोइराला स्वाथ्य विज्ञान प्रतिष्ठान लाने क्रममा मृत्यु भएको इलाका प्रहरी कार्यलय इटहरीका डिएसपी विद्यानन्द माझिले बताए । मृतकको सोही प्रतिष्ठानमा पोष्टमार्टम गरी परिवारको जिम्मा लगाएको डिएसपी माझिले जानकारी दिए । घटनामा संलग्न चौधरीलाई तत्काल गिरफ्तार गरी इप्रका इटहरीका हिरासतमा राखी अनुसन्धान थालिएको प्रहरीले जनाए । सुकदेव चौधरी
