Woman Denying to Give Donation Killed

Nanda Yadav, 50, a resident at Chaupheri of Holiya2 has been shot dead by cadres of Terai Madhes Mukti Party (Bhagat Singh) on January 18.

 

Cadres of the party had fired at Nanda at her house which is located in Indo-Nepal border. She had spot death. The party cadres had fired at her alleging that she did not provide them donation. They had fired at Nanda when her husband Bahadur Yadav had gone to Nepalgunj, said Bikram Singh Thapa, SP at Banke District Police Office.

 

Police have arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in the murder of Nanda.

 

The incident site lies some 16 kilometers east from Nepalgunj. Khadaicha Police Post is located some three kilometers from the site.

 

Former chairperson of Holiya VDC Rana Bahadur Thakur said that locals across Rapti River living in Indo Nepal border have been terrified after the incident. He demanded that the local administration establish a police post in the VDC.
