KANCHANPUR , NOV 13 - Farmers in different places of Kanchanpur district disrupted the traffic along the East-West Highway demanding fertilizers. The farmers demonstrated in Traffic Chowk, Bhasi and Dasharathchand Chowk burning tires since 7:00 am Sunday. They disrupted all the vehicles leaving for long and short distances saying Nepal Agricultural Inputs Office, Kanchanpur, tried to cheat the farmers in different excuses at a time when they need fertilizers for wheat cultivation. The farmers were irked after the office sent them empty-handed saying the fertilizers will arrive only after a few days.
